Job Purpose   BetStars is a challenger brand within the Sportsbook market across Europe. This role is to take responsibility for managing Sportsbook’s brand and marketing campaigns, as well as managing Product Development for marketing purposes.  This is to be achieved in conjunction with the CRM Promotions Manager, the Design Manager, the Creative Manager, as well as the Product team, the Marketing Director, the Creative Director and the Creative Agency.   Key Responsibilities    The role for the Senior Advertising & Campaign Manager is two fold:   •  Manage brand marketing campaigns, approved by Group management holistically from start to finish - i.e. new product launches / features / platforms / sub-brands, global marketing activations (working closely with Business Intelligence, PR, Social Media, Digital Marketing, Customer Experience, Product, to develop inspiring and effective 360 marketing and campaigns) • Manage the creative advertising needs of the business as approved by Group management (responding to creative requests from Regional Marketing, Central teams and other Business Units, and working closely with (and day-to-day managing) the external Creative Agency relationship). CAMPAIGN MARKETING   • Manage and coordinate key brand marketing campaigns approved by Group management, and operate as the point person regarding the status of project deliverables and budgets. • Help Group management define the consumer target, positioning and make sure that all necessary elements of campaign are in place, in sync, and on the Group’s strategy. • Oversee campaign creation from conception to completion, following Group management approval, in a timely manner. • Work with internal creatives (creative manager, creative director, studio designers, etc.) to ensure optimal quality, as well as smooth, timely communication at every point in a project lifecycle. • In collaboration with other departments/functions help to develop 360 degrees marketing plans for Group management approval, for product, promotional and tactical campaigns. • Enable regions/functions to execute launch/support marketing plans: present, support, follow up, report key issues and deviations. • Review completed campaigns and work with BI and with the product team and with the marketing director, to identify areas of improvement, and after Group management approval, implement changes to future campaigns. ADVERTISING  • Day to day management of the Group’s PokerStars advertising projects across the UK market - consistently delivering quality creative solutions on time, on brief, on brand and on budget. • Manage the external Creative Agency relationship. • Manage the integration of ad campaigns across all marketing, product and content teams. • Build strong working relationships with MMD Managers, plus relevant internal teams, understanding their needs and delivering strong communications solutions every time to help drive success in their markets • Maintain the high standards of creative quality and internal customer service that have been set by Group management and seeking to always improve on these • Strive to consistently provide high quality briefs for review by Group management, which will facilitate growth in turnover, RMs and actives via sector-leading marketing. Skills and Capabilities Essential   •  A BIG passion for sports and a detailed knowledge of sports. • Solid marketing background - at least 3 years of experience within central or regional marketing, or in a strong agency. • An interest in the gambling industry and product developments within. • Project management experience • Proven project management experience - proven ability to take ownership of all aspects of a campaign from concept to completion • The ability to think clearly and concisely • Well organized with ability to multi-task and prioritize key projects • Good presentation skills • Strong analytical and decision making skills • Creative thinker who is able to think of effective and creative solutions • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to tailor the dialogue and delivery to cater for a variety of audiences • Clear attention to detail • Positive attitude in stressful situations • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments • English language fluency • Team Player Desirable • European / International marketing experience • Integrated view of communications & marketing • Experience of big brands • Qualifications or equivalent experience of general marketing Our Values   • Focus on the customer • Work as a team • Strive for excellence • Have courage • Show passion Our Culture   “The best Company I have ever worked for: I have been working at The Stars Group full-time (More than a year).
